Yellow
I'm not sure when Reagan learned how to pronounce her "L"s, but now she does it pretty well. For the longest time, they would come out like "Y"s, so for the word "yellow", she would always say "yeh-yo". Now that the "L"s are sounding perfect, she's changing too many "Y"s to "L"s. "Yellow" always sounds like "Lellow" now. This is the last bit of mispronunciation she still has, and it's too cute to correct.

Daddy Sat On The Barbies
Reagan's barbies (MommyDoll, DaddyDoll, Frizzy, Makeup, and Braid) were all sitting on the couch watching ballet. Daddy didn't notice and sat on the lot of them. After a while, one of them got particularly uncomfortable and he pulled it out. Immediately, Reagan shouted "NO, MOMMYDOLL NEEDS TO SIT NEXT TO FRIZZY!" Daddy apologized, put her back, and sat back down on them. Reagan was happy. :-)

Opening Presents
Wrapping up her toys in blankets and closing them in boxes and having us "come open our present" is one of Reagan's favorite things to do since christmas and happens almost daily. This morning, she called me into the playroom to open my present and as I approached, she quickly started opening the box herself.
"I'll open it for you", she says as she pulls the flaps of the cardboard box open. When the big balloon inside was revealed, she quickly made sure I knew it was really hers ... "You can just share it cause it's my toy", she says. Not quite the full concept of giving presents yet, but at least she's sharing :-)
