BOZO, Blocks, Benches

Even though she's a little young for this, she thinks the Bozo Clown is pretty cool. She's trying to bring it to me so I can make it work. Thanks Grandma Laurie and Grandpa Martin!

She's also a little young for these huge blocks, but Cam's been waiting so patiently to have an excuse to play with them - they're his from his childhood. She loves when he makes a bench and if I'm in the other room, she calls "mama!", walks over to me, points back toward where she came from saying "dat". I follow and she walks up to the bench, points to it and says "dat" looking at me expectantly. Cameron informs me I'm supposed to sit on the bench. I do and she immediately pushes on my back ... my turn is over ... her turn now.
"Reagan say cheese"
"Tees"
Cam's built a couple elaborate forts and ball mazes for her and she thinks they're pretty cool, but not quite as much as Cam yet.
Putting birdies on top made it way cooler though :-)

Sand & Water Table from Grandma Connie

She's already excited and there's no sand or water!

The very next night after work, Cam rushed over to Ace Hardware for a bag of sand and got it all set up on the patio.

Immediately copying Daddy and scooping sand into containers with a very serious and concentrated look ... like a chemist in her lab :-) Thanks Grandma Connie!

Reagan Finally Swims Again ...

I hadn't taken Reagan swimming since last July when she was 3 1/2 months old and I finally took her to the baby pool at our swim club today at almost 14 months old (sorry, no pics, didn't think of it and it was just me and her, so it would've been hard. She was adorable in her Old Navy mock-denim 2-piece though). She went from being scared to touch her foot to the water all the way to standing right next to me, waist deep, splashing her hands and even pushing a ball back and forth with a 2 yr old girl. What really helped was when all the bigger kids came over and played in the baby pool during the 15 min adult swim/break time. She just stared and stared at them like "you can do all that in the water?".

Top Teeth!

Just noticed a few days ago that a couple top teeth, maybe even 3, are poking through a little!

Gift From Uncle Brandon & Aunt Danielle

We bought her this ball toy with the gift card they sent and she was all about putting the balls into the toy the first couple days. Now, all she cares about are the balls. She has a blast chasing them around, banging them together, watching them bounce and roll, and hearing them click on the floor (they're plastic). It's pretty funny... I missed a great shot of her commando crawling under the rocking chair to retrieve it earlier.

Half Dome, Here I Come!

This girl is constantly trying to climb on things. Anything. You name it. She'll squirm out of our arms to climb the stairs herself when we start going up. She climbs the little plastic picnic table at the day care at the gym. She'll climb us like we're jungle gyms. She climbs on top of her potty chair in the bathroom, but then ends up stuck kneeling on it and quickly falls off. She'll even climb on top of a book we're reading to her on the floor. Here she is at the park the other night, climbing in her little polo dress. Hmm, do we have another x-treme Reeves on our hands??

Exploring the Back Yard

Reagan requests going outside now because she loves it so much. She stands at the back door and points and talks (babbles). She can point to trees, leaves, and flowers on command and loves to sit and pick and study leaves and pebbles.

First Kiss

Last weekend at the park, a 2 yr old boy riding around on his tricycle had Reagan like a deer in headlights. He must have thought her stare meant more because when he came over to say hi, he very sweetly bent over and gave her a peck on the cheek. Cam didn't think he'd have to worry about her dating yet ... poor Dad.

Reagan also went in the swings, rode the bouncy fish, went on the slide by herself, and walked around holding our hands! She can now grab a finger from a seated position and stand up and start walking with one finger hold.

Reagan the Cat

"This is handy. Why don't they have this on any other door for me?"
